Gary, is our top refinishing expert.
It has taken
many years of experience and study of refinishing techniques and the latest paint technology to enable him to provide
the top quality finish that will probably be better than the original. He has also studied grp (glass reinforced plastic) layup
and repair and has become very skilled in repairing it together with the rest of the team at M & G Marine.
Gary is now considered to be one of the top experts in the country able to
accomplish unseen repairs
Ian, one of our engineers is also our preparation expert and believes that if you
can see his work then it has not been done properly, hour after hour of sanding and filling provide the ideal surface for
Garys' refinishing.
He has also been an apprentice to his father Mick (our engineer)
for many years and is now competent to carry out more advanced work on boat engines and has inherited his fathers
attention to detail to make sure that any work he undertakes will be to manufacturers specifications to lessen any chance
of a fault occuring. I am told he also makes a nice cup of tea.
