Osmosis is a very worrying thought for many boat owners and when those little tell tale bubbles begin to appear it may be time to think about how to deal with the problem. Various surveyors have different views on how serious the problem is and how best to deal with it, however, we have been dealing with osmosis for around twenty years and may well have the solution you are looking for.

There is no 'cheap' solution to curing osmosis and it is a long and difficult process requiring skilled work in several areas. We only employ skilled staff who have been with us for many years and do not take on 'casual' labour. For more specialised work (such as peeling gelcoat) we have negotiated favourable terms with the South Wests top contractor and are therefore able to pass these savings on to our customers.

The top picture shows where the gelcoat has been peeled to allow the fibreglass to dry before applying a coat of epoxy resin and then faired in to match the boats contours before primer and antifoul is applied (below)
